Damian McCourt is our head passkeeper. Passkeepers generally welcome people as they enter church, take up collections and act as stewards during services. Passkeepers are both male and female. If you are interested in joining this group then contact us and we’ll put you in touch with Damian.

Our aim is to tackle poverty in all its forms through the provision of practical assistance to those in need. The concept of need is broader than financial hardship, so visiting people who are sick, lonely, or suffering from addiction is also a significant proportion of our work. The essence of our work is person-to-person contact and spending time with people is our greatest gift.

Ann Adamson-Eadie is our SCIAF parish co-ordinator. SCIAF stands for Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund. We help families in poor countries to live in peace, free themselves from hunger, poverty and injustice, learn new skills, and fully recover when disaster strikes.

We believe in giving people in need a hand up, not a hand out, focusing on the needs of the whole person – their emotional and spiritual well-being, political voice, cultural and community life, as well as the way they support themselves.
